Where is Rose City Comedy located?
Our new location is 7428 Old Jacksonville Hwy, between Javi’s and Texas De Brazil, in the old Cantina Laredo building. The grand opening of our new venue is scheduled for Friday December 20th, 2024.

What time should I arrive for the show?
Doors open 1 hour before the early show, and 15 minutes before the late show for general admission. We recommend arriving early to get settled. Please note that if you arrive late, you may not be granted admittance.

What is the seating arrangement?
At Rose City Comedy, we now offer tabled seating for a more comfortable and enjoyable experience. In our previous venue, we featured theater-style seating, but in our new location, you'll be seated at tables, perfect for enjoying drinks and appetizers during the show. Seating is assigned, and our staff will guide you to your designated seats upon arrival to ensure a smooth and organized experience for everyone.

How does seating work?
At Rose City Comedy, seating is arranged by sections, similar to a restaurant. Once seated, guests are not permitted to move to a different table or section. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable seat change requests at the time of seating.

What if I have a large group?
If you’re attending as part of a group of more than six or if your group has purchased tickets separately, please give us a call at least two hours before doors open. This will help us ensure you’re all seated together so you can fully enjoy the show with your friends or family.

Can I bring my own drinks?
No, outside beverages are not allowed. With our state liquor license, we offer a full bar for your enjoyment, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.

Do you serve food and drinks?
Yes! We have a full bar and kitchen offering a variety of upscale cocktails and elevated appetizers. Please note that BYOB is no longer allowed, as we now have a state liquor license.

Is there an item minimum?
Yes, there is a two-item minimum per ticket, which includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as our appetizers and desserts. This is standard practice at comedy clubs across the country and helps us continue bringing you top-tier live entertainment.

Why is there a 20% auto gratuity?
The 20% auto gratuity ensures our dedicated staff, including servers and bartenders, are fairly compensated for their hard work in creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. This policy also simplifies the checkout process, so you can focus on enjoying the show without worrying about tipping logistics.

What type of content can I expect during a comedy show?
Comedy shows may contain adult subject matter and language. We recommend doing your research on the featured headliner before purchasing tickets if you have content concerns. Some shows are more explicit than others, but all are designed to make you laugh!

Can I take pictures or record videos during the show?
For the comfort of the performers and the audience, photography and recording of any kind are not allowed during the show. We want everyone to be present in the moment and enjoy the performance without distractions.

What happens if I arrive late?
If you arrive after the show has started, you may not be granted admittance. We encourage you to arrive on time to avoid disruptions and to enjoy the full experience.

Are tickets refundable?
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. We suggest reviewing the headliner’s content and ensuring the date works for you before purchasing tickets.

Is there an age restriction for shows?
Most of our shows are recommended for adults, as they often feature adult language and themes. We suggest checking the show details for specific age recommendations, but typically, our shows are for ages 18+ or 21+.

What should I wear?
There is no strict dress code at Rose City Comedy. We suggest wearing something comfortable, but keep in mind you’ll be seated for the duration of the show and potentially heading out to our full bar and kitchen, so smart casual is a good guideline.

Can I host private events or parties at Rose City Comedy?
Absolutely! We welcome inquiries about private events, corporate parties, or large groups. Please reach out to us via email for more information and availability.

How long does a typical show last?
Our shows typically last 75 minutes unless otherwise specified. This allows us to run both an early and a late show, giving you plenty of laughs without taking up your whole night.

Can I talk during the show?
We ask that all guests be respectful of the performers and other audience members. Please keep conversation to a minimum during the show and refrain from heckling or interrupting the comedians. Laughter and enjoying the performance are encouraged, but excessive talking or disruptive behavior will result in being asked to leave without a refund.

Is there parking available?
Yes, we offer free parking in the lot surrounding the venue. However, spots can fill up quickly, so we recommend arriving early.

How can I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online through our website or at the door (if available). However, we recommend buying in advance as shows often sell out.
