Built for Tyler.
By someone who came home.
I spent over twenty years in professional entertainment. I started as a country music artist, then moved into artist management, artist development, brand development, and tour management. Along the way I worked with Bob Seger, Wynonna Judd, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, Lady A, Thomas Rhett, Kelsea Ballerini, Carly Pearce, Midland, Luke Bryan, and others. I've seen what world-class live entertainment looks like from the inside — what it takes to build it, run it, and make it feel effortless for the people in the room.
In 2019, I was living in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, building the next chapter. Then COVID shut everything down — the island, the tours, the industry — and I came home to Tyler.
"I saw a community that had outgrown what it was being offered. East Texas deserved better than bar shows and long drives to Dallas."
In February 2022, Rose City Comedy was born in the corner of an iPhone repair shop I'd purchased downtown. Twenty seats. Folding chairs. A desk lamp for a spotlight. The room was modest. The standard was not.
From that first night, the focus was on doing this right — curating talent carefully, respecting the craft, and delivering an experience that felt genuinely professional. The kind of night out you'd expect to find in Dallas or Austin, right here at home in Tyler. That's not something East Texas has ever really had. It's exactly what Rose City Comedy was built to be.
That small beginning outgrew its space quickly. Rose City Comedy expanded into a dedicated intimate venue — assigned seating, full bar service, professional sound and lighting, and lineups featuring nationally touring headliners alongside the best local talent in the region.

Every weekend, I take the stage myself to open the show. Not because I have to — because I want every person in that room to know this place is locally owned, personally run, and genuinely part of the fabric of Tyler. This isn't a franchise. It isn't a chain. It's mine, and I built it for this community.
East Texas has always deserved real entertainment, presented professionally. Rose City Comedy exists to prove you don't have to go anywhere else to find it.
